Scrap Gold and Silver from Old Computers
I have heard that your old computer had a treasure trove of gold and silver in it but never really knew where – much less how to extract it. I searched around online and found this video. It is from a British company but computers are the same all over the world. From now on whenever I see my neighbors throwing our computers I am going to start grabbing them and pulling out the gold. I’ve seen stuff that looks like gold but I’m still not sure where the silver is to be found.
The only problem I see is that for the individual it is very hard to sell the scrap gold. I did some looking around and found a company that will buy your scrap gold. With the current price of gold where it is it doesn’t take much to make some decent money. I’m not sure if they will give you anything for the silver and copper in the computer but at the very least they should give you a decent price for the gold since they are getting the other two metals for free.
Gold Panda Coin
The Chinese Gold Panda coin is collection of gold bullion rounds. These are struck by the national mint of China – People’s Republic of China to be specific. They are issued in various different coin sizes: beginning as small as 1/20 oz and as big as 1 full ounce. Gold Panda coins have the same fineness factor as most gold gold coin of 99.9%, however most are worth a little over the gold value based on demand by collectors.
The coins are known as the Golden Panda because each years’ coin features a panda on one side (the images change from year to year). The reverse side carries a picture of the Temple of Heaven with Chinese characters on top saying Zhonghua Renmin Gongheguo (meaning People’s Republic of China) and the date of the year it was minted and struck. Each sized coin carries a specific face value in Yuan (official Chinese currency). Due to the unique artistry, the coins continue to be one of the world’s most popular gold bullion coins to collect.

Struck in .917 fine gold this is the only gold coin whose weight a purity is guaranteed by the US Government. In addition to that, the American Gold Eagle is the only gold coin that the IRS will allow an individual in an IRA.
